Tranquilles is located in an area that enjoys 4 distinct seasons. The summer is not as warm as many parts of Australia, so it is always wise to bring a cardigan or sweater in case the weather turns cool. The winter can be cold as we are only 1 hour’s drive from Cradle Mountain and the Great Western tiers, which does enjoy snow at times during winter.

Tranquilles is located approximately 15 kms or 20 minutes drive from the berthing of the Spirit of Tasmania.
